Graveyard of Broken Thoughts

The vibrations ran along him like they always did, echoing the rape of his eyes and skin by the polluted winds... He shifted his eyeballs upwards and a whole new world of undiluted beauty and serenity flowed by. And he asked himself - "Why is it that I have to look through many layers of deception to see true beauty and harmony?" As he went by, the thought cremated itself and travelled to the place where his other dead thoughts now reside.

He took his last puff from the cigarette he had been smoking for the past 3 and a half minutes... The golden glow encircled the brown paper covering the filter and he watched himself flick the cigarette away. That half a second seemed to last a whole minute as he watched the cigarette trace it's path so gracefully, bounce a few centimetres as it hit the ground and fall down again. The wind blew the butt away and brought it to rest beside another cigarette butt, of another brand. He gazed lovingly at the girl beside him, smiled, and looked down to the spot where the two burnt out butts lay.

There's so much beauty in this World.
